Sometimes the Lake wins

Heading to LOTW –
1) Loading up the ATV I didn’t have the trailer locked onto the hitch, trailer lifted off and dented tailgate.
2) Got out on the lake to find out Big buddy heater broke one side off the ceramic, but still worked.
3) Started to run and gun, pulled the new Eskimo auger and recoil broke. Spent $600 on new auger.
4) New camp stove quit working.
5) Next day the Big buddy ceramic completely gone and heater won’t run.
6) On the way out yesterday the new run n gun hit an unseen ice chunk and got totaled. The maiden voyage of with the run n gun.
7) Out on the lake 5 hours at 10 below, 2 year old Grizzly didn’t start, Brian from Adrian’s had to rescue me.
8) 31lfer caught 2 pout, I got blanked.
9) I Didn’t win the 900 million powerball.
But the biggest hurt was that Team Vex (31lifer) smoked team Marcum. (Congrats Steve!) I’ll get you next year.

There’s got to be a lesson to be learned in there somewhere.

I have had days like that,but the rest of the year goes off with out a hitch,pardon the pun!!
to be hit like that all at once can be maddening for sure,makes you wonder if the fish gods hate you.

I will bet however you will get even!!

Before I can comment, what is the run-n-gun that got totaled on a ice chunk ?

Needless to say, next years model will have a few modifications.
Other than hitting the ice chunk it performed well.

When it rains it pours, it will be a good story down the road when things get better. What is the purpose of this run and gun? Looks like a killer smoker! 😉

It carried everything we needed out on the ice.
Otter hub
Seating
Heater
Tackle
Rods
Flashers
Cooking stove
Cooler
etc.

Hey don’t feel bad I didn’t get to My fishing spot, 6:00 Am wake up call doing 45MPH and now they wanna total the vehicle.

You call that a deer hit? Heck, that is just a scratch.

Twelve grand to repair and they repairied it rather than total it.

The adjuster coming Monday $ 4,500.00 to repair a 2007 I just want to get it fixed.
