And this week has been one of the tougher ones. Just ask Ben Brettingen, IDO’s #1 cameraman. High winds, bitter cold temps and blowing snow since Sunday have made getting this weeks show quite the challenge. Thankfully Ben doesn’t blink when faced with miserable conditions…. mostly because his eyes are usually frozen shut or nearly so!

Ben Brettingen, you’ve earned the Iron Man award this week. I salute you sir!

James I think you owe him and all who helped including yourself a big one of something. He is hoping for your crew that it is not a repeat of last year.

And here I thought all you guys did was went out and caught a bunch of fish, having a good time… and happened to shoot a little video to make the show back in the office. applause

More proof… nothing is as easy as it looks.

Can’t wait to see the show!

Kudos to you guys for taking a picture! We’ve seen Ben even worse off, but usually all of our hands are too frozen to operate a camera.

Both of the Bens throw caution to the wind when it comes to getting “the-shot.” Hat’s off to you Brentingenineninen!

And they say “work ethic” is missing from todays workforce. Dedication, determination & desire is something that can’t be bought. You either have it or you don’t.
Congrats James, your guys have it! toast

A few Blueberry Blondes should help him thaw out some! I can’t say that I have ever frosted up remotely close to that. That is just insane!

Nice job on keeping it steady considering the conditions you were put up against. Must have been tough!
