Tears for Fears – Mr. Pessimist (and many others from them)

Robert Plant – In the Mood

Crosby, Stills & Nash – Southern Cross

Pink Floyd – Shine On You Crazy Diamond also Wish You Were Here

David & David – Welcome to the Boomtown entire album – not always relaxing, but possibly the most “listenable” entire album I have heard. The guitar on the title track is absolutely mesmerizing to me, tied for first place with Barry Goudreau’s guitar from “Long Time” by the band Boston on my list of favorite guitar.

I’ll leave it at that for now.

I’m a heavy metal guy…..the louder the more relaxing.

Unless it Otis Redding. “ Sittin On the Dock of the Bay” is pretty relaxing.

Agreed. Also, Wilson Pickett In the Midnight Hour. The Stax recordings were fantastic.

I really like the Chris Stapleton song too James.

My guess is that you guys won’t know who River Dan is…but with a name like River Dan I think you ought to give it a spin.
