No not yet but wondering on if anyone tracks the ice conditions that way (Alexandria or Detroit Lakes) area. I am interested in taking several trips this winter and just wondering if anytime in January is good to drive on with pickups. I think it should be good but was thinking of booking early and was just wondering.
Should be good, but never know if it will be a warm year. I would imagine if you book now, you could adjust once it gets a little closer.
It should be good but like Dustin said “you never know”. I have been using an app called ice reports for a couple of years. This might help you keep track of what is going on as you get nearer to your date.
January is usually good for driving on. There is the ocassional warm early winter where it might be a little iffy but that doesn’t happen very often. They are predicting a warmer winter.
