I’m going to bet I was one of the only, if not the only boat that went to no wake speed in front of Hay Creek during the Saugarama.

I did too! But I didn’t really have a choice…full duck hunting load makes for a slow ride back…

And congrats one more time. Can’t wait to see pictures of the catfish slime in the carpet!

Might have to wait. There’s a large swim platform with a hot and cold sprayer back there. )

Thomas Carpet out of Wabasha is replacing the shag inside as we speak.

Nice, to move from camping next to the river to camping on it. You are living the dream. How does the slip fee compare to the seasonal campground fee? So the heat is good enough to overnight on it over the winter?

Bet you really can’t wait until next spring now.

It depends which marina your staying at but Island Campground is $1575 for the slip and $2337. for the campers on the main channel just downstream of the Ella J. + electric and that will chew up the savings by the time the river is 45 degrees again.

Oh yeah, I’m ready for spring!!

In the mean time I’m dropping the Marcum camera off the back of the boat. I’m not sure if I’ll connect it to the tv or not yet. We’ll have to see what’s down there first.
