Anyone here have first hand knowledge if the solas rubex (#102 specifically) and the mercury flo torq II hub kits are interchangeable? I would like to pick up a spare hub kit amd will be ordering some other parts from a place that has solas but not the flo torq, would be nice to save a little freight instead of two different orders.
I should add that I did plan on picking up a different prop (was looking at the rubex props) but not till i can do some more experimenting which adds to why I wouldn’t mind getting the rubex hub if it will work with the current props I have (all quicksilver props that use the flo torq). The more immediate desire is just to have a spare as I only have the one hub right now.
The solas rbx 102 will work in your quicksilver props. They do have softer shifting in and out of gear. The solas hub are very hard to take out of the prop once there in and been used.
