Looking for some advice – Have a 3″ pvc pipe extending through the roof. Flying Squirrels must think it would make a nice warm place to spend the winter, goes head first down the tube and gets trapped. Kitchen sink drains stopped up – Plumber called and shows up a few days later with power snake. $$$
Need to have/get a “cap” of some sorts that allows ventilation and will no freeze over….currently have a “leech Locker” strapped over the top of the stack till I figure out something better.

Thanks. I’m in Menards, Superior at least once every week. You would think I would have checked them out before posting. Gonna have to remove my yellow leech locker and install one that Menard’s has. Thanks again and bestfishes – jim

Plain old hardware cloth and a cable tie. Hardware cloth is that large opening screen type stuff, not fabric.

Might be a dumb question here but I wonder where all the leaves falling on my house go when they go down that pipe ha . Mines uncovered as well.

    Ball of chicken wire.
A long screw across or several meeting in middle.
Just need to think outside the box and use what you already have.

We use this style, don’t need to worry about rusting out. (If the attachment works, anyway)
