If you wear Crocks, you have reached the age you don’t care what others think!

This describes me as well.. Right with ya Jon!

I must admit I wear socks with crocs when it is cold out.

Funny Croc story from Saturday after fishing the river all morning. Planned to head up to the Village Inn for lunch. Got out of car in parking lot an noticed my crocs didn’t feel right. SOB. New fashion statement. Was hoping no one would notice. Unfortunately, my wife texted me before our food was even done asking me if I had 2 different crocs on. Busted.

Bzzsaw – you just level-up’d in the man game. For you it’s not only do I wear Crocs or not???, but WHICH Crocs do I wear?!?! And sometimes you just gotta mix/match.

On a serious note: some say they only wear them around water and I get why, they’re rubber – water and sweat wont penetrate the material and reek. But make sure you have some good grip. My ONLY pair of Crocs are probably 8 yrs old now and they’re sufficiently wore out. I can’t bring myself to throw them. I wear them out in the garage and the bottoms are now as smooth as porcelain. Even the smallest wet spot on the floor is now a threat to my life. It is only by the grace of God that my wife or kids haven’t found me lifeless and bleeding from my head because I went out in the garage to grab a screwdriver and stepped in the slightest amount of snowmelt coming off the car.

They make Spurs now for them too!!! I always swore against them, but after three pairs of fishing shoes getting moldy, I tried them…best boat shoes IMO

IMO, best BWCA footwear for wetfooting also. Simply cannot be beat for functionality in the BWCA. Some might argue keens are better but the fact they take so long to dry out puts them light years behind crocs as far as water shoes go… Oh ya, and people like to say crocs are ugly but they are wearing keens… Just another case of the pot calling the kettle black.

My dad bought some while on vacation up at reeds in walker and threatened to wear socks with them… my 14 and 12 year old sons were not having it. Now every time they see somebody wearing them the say the rhyme they made up.

Crocs with socks by Dr. Suess

Do you wear them in a car?
Would you wear them to them bar?

If you wear them for all to see,
Please act like you don’t know me!!

My feet tend to stink after I wear them for extended periods of time in the warmer months so I switch to sandals instead.

Probably not, since crocs are primarily for people who can’t reach their feet anymore right?

I own a pair but can’t seem to get into wearing them. if I was to wear them they would be without socks for sure. My wife and daughter seem to have them on whenever I think about wearing them. I do tend to prefer the Keens or Teva’s over the crocks.

Stepped on a glue mouse trap with my last pair, good luck getting that sh!t off.

Can’t find any size 12s in stores this year so far, can’t wait to get back in the cool kids club with my new ones!

Cotton, smart wool, baseball and dress socks work well in them, and I’ve even heard pantyhose as well blush

Guys check out NothinZ they are made in the USA and while I have never had a pair of Crocs, these are cheaper and are the same as best as I can tell. waytogo

Owe and I wear socks with them cause usually only wear them in the wheel house.
I pretty much stopped caring what people thought many moons ago.

I love my crocs, I swore against them for ever. Then my mom brought me some over that she bought for the old man and were to big. I love how easy they slip on and you can bet I have socks on 90 % percent of the time. I can’t stand being bare foot and if I don’t have crocs on I wear red wing boots. So the easiness to slip them on turns them in to my lazy man sneaker

I told my wife years ago, if she ever caught me wearing sandals to back away slowly and call 911. When I first saw Crocs I reiterated that warning but with an exclamation point.

Being a curmudgeon and highly resistant to change, you will not see me with a piercing, ear gauges, or tattoos either. If that’s something you do and enjoy more power to you. It used to be a free country.

i’m a croc convert. its what i wear 75% of the time. in the winter i wear them with ankle socks.

I buy the “offroad” crocks they seem to be a bit bigger and you don’t have the top foot rub going on.

My only beef with crocks are the tread. when its wet and you hit parking lot paint it can result in some good laughs for everyone around you.

i also have their flip flops. those are really nice as well.

for me its about comfort and embarassing my teenage daughters.

I was wearing an old pair of crocks with socks and slipped on our wood stairs. Fractured three ribs. I will never wear them again.

When I don’t have my work boots on, I wear crocs. Year round. thru slush, snow, sun, rain doesn’t matter. usually have them in 2- wheel drive, but when its gets rough, slip the heel strap on, and go into 4-wheel drive.

socks on or off up to the person wearing them.

I must be so not cool that I didn’t even know that crocs were not cool.
