During the time of Jesus and since then Christians have been beheading, crucifying, raping, pillaging, burning at the stake and god knows what else… you get the jest, all in the name of their Christian religion.
While this has been true in the past G…I think we gave that up long ago…….unlike others who still think that 7th century ideas and tactics are perfectly acceptable in the 21st century….
Mudshark, you and I may have given it up.. but not all religious zealots have. Christian, Muslim, Jewish… all have extremists, even today. We are just in a country with a majority of christians, where we will come to your country and tell what is good for you and if you don’t like it… well then we have no use for you or your religion. If you oppress someone long and hard enough, they will either fight or die. Most will die fighting… hmmmmmmmm.
