8 man tag team match, 2 cameramen, 2 announcers, 1 referee. Spit & sweat flying everywhere.

But………they did have a couple guys with masks and no fans in the stands. bow

Ever since Rona we’ve watched the opening and a few matches every Friday before live PD. I remember watching the miz on the real world thinking what a pipe dream thinking he’d make it into pro wrestling. Well he proved me wrong, good for him. Not many people get to live their dream.

Todays wrestling certainly isn’t the Rasslin’ of Verne Gagne and the Crusher.

Keeping in mind it is just “entertainment” these guys really do some amazingly athletic stuff.

Before lampooning me for watching wrestling take a look at the Friday night network schedule. There isn’t ANYTHING else on now that baseball is down.

Or Dick the Bruiser, Baron von Raeske, or Sailor Art Thomas, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Nock Bockwinkle, Blackjack Lanza, Wilbur Snyder, Wahoo McDaniel, Bruno Sammartino, or who can forget Gorilla Monsoon, or the Valiant brothers. And we haven’t even mentioned world champion midget wrestler Little Beaver. The lists just go on and on and on.

Great memories. Crusher and bruiser vs the vachons or against pretty boy larry hening and handsome Harley race were my favorite matches. My mom could not watch Lawrence welk on saturday night because we screamed for marty oneil and awa wrestling from the calhoun beach club!

I met “The Baron” at the Post Office I work at. His mother in law lived in my hometown. What a great guy, super nice and down to earth. He went into character after I figured out who he was. The highlight of my postal career.

UFC is back. Lots of blood was spilt. One of the fighters tested positive day of fight for those that don’t follow. I thought they would cancel the whole card but Uncle Dana gives 0 $hits. Great fights all the way across the card
