Fishing in the boat this weekend had 2″ of snow and the water temp drop 8 degrees in 5 days and forecast is trending low 30’s during the day and lows of 20’s. I guess winter is here, hoping to squeeze in one or more two trips but if we get the cold and snow I am not sure about that.

fishing out of a boat in snow is magical! I love it but part of me is not ready in SE MN yet. I have panicked a few times and put my boat away seeing lows below freezing only to find myself fishing in shorts a few weeks later. I’m waiting until thanksgiving from here on out.
