I spotted a snowy owl last evening near Harris MN. I feel fortunate, very cool bird to see. Has anybody else spotted one this winter?
They migrate from northern Canada on occasion when their food sources are scarce.
What area in Harris. I see one back off of 420th quite often up to 61.
Its a sure sign of climate change. 
Had one at my house about 8 years ago in East Bethel.

Opposite side of town. They sure are a cool bird.
There’s only a couple things to do over there. Travel between the full moon and flickabirds. Or Fish horseshoe.

Actually just a sign of low lemming populations up on the tundra.
Been a few years since I’ve seen one. Bout 20 years ago we frequently saw a “group” of them, say 5-6 sitting on field irrigators out near Parker’s prairie. Was always cool to drive by and watch them.
I’ve been watching. Saw 2 last year.
Seen one standing on a deer carcass on 169 just outside of Ely. Big beautiful birds they are.
IMHO a Hallowed Bird.
It is a gift to observe and honor to be in it’s presence.
They are quite bold.
