First time owner bought a 2003 Skidoo. What should I do to put it away for the year?

For sure either drain the carbs or disconnect the gas and run them dry. I wouldnt run the carbs dry if it is a four stroke though. Then of course stabilize the gas in the tank with sta-bil or something of the sort.

So if I ran all gas out of tank would that work as far as running the crabs dry?

Along as the motor died on its own. I would think so.

For a few bucks, a plastic siphon hose will get all the gas out of your tank. I do that every year, turn the gas line off, run engine until dead. 1996 two stroke.
Grease everything now when it’s warmer.
I have to take out the foam air filter or mice eat it.
Those are my basics for storage.
