I really enjoy ice fishing, but I’ve gotten old enough where I enjoy riding out to a heated house. No more running and gunning, so I’ve decided to sell a lot of stuff. I bought the snowmobile in 2014 with less than 500 miles on it. I only used it fishing locally and have put on less than 100 miles in 8 years. Here’s what I’ve got:

2010 Polaris Trail Tour 550N, 589 miles, elec. start, reverse, 2 up, digger auger mount
homemade storage to replace the rear seat
    2002 Aluma snowmobile trailer
Otter Pro Lodge XT900, Sportsman’s caddy center, hyfax, hitch with pivot, cover, Frabill light
    Otter Sport Sled large
Ion X 8″ auger, 40 volt 5 amp, reverse, charger
    Eskimo Quickfish 3i
    Aqua-Vu camera, case
    Snowmobile dolly set

Ideally, I’d like to sell it as a package. Does $5,000 for everything sound reasonable?
I’m located by Pequot Lakes, MN.

That’s more than reasonable, that’s a great deal. If I didn’t already have everything I need I’d be on my way to you!

I just posted it an hour ago, so at this point I’d like to sell it as a bundle. If you’d like to buy the bundle and sell off what you don’t need and make a good profit, you’re welcome to it. On the other hand, what’s your offer?

As Emily Litella (Gilda Radner), on Saturday Night Live used to say…Never mind.

I met B-man in Garrison for the sale and he checked the cylinder pressure. It turns out that it’s not good. He checked with his guy and I called around to see what the pressure should be and what can be done. Bottomn line is he didn’t want it and I don’t blame him. I felt bad that I had wasted his time, but I’m not much of an engine guy and had no idea there was a problem. So tomorrow I’ll bring it into a shop and see if it’s worth fixing.

So that it wasn’t a total waste of time for both of us, I did sell him the Otter Lodge. It turns out I’m selling the gear piece by piece anyhow! But maybe without the biggest piece.

Oh well, it was nice meeting B-man. I just wish it would have turned out better.

I believe it was 80. People I called said it should be 120.

It was nice meeting you too sir. Wish it would have turned out better as well, but it is what it is.

My buddy is coming over shortly to pick up the Otter, I hope he enjoys it as much as you did.

Yes Coletrain, 80psi was as high as I could get on both cylinders when cold. Hot was lower yet.

It’s crazy to think that some guys put on 500+ miles on in single weekend, but this thing was over a decade old with that many.

Thats usually the most hurtful thing for equipment, no use is just as bad as neglect

The sled alone is worth that in this market

It didn’t work out exactly as planned, there were a few bumps along the way, but I ended up selling everything and met some nice guys from IDO in the process. Thank you.
