After the forecasted “slushy coating” to an inch that was forecasted for the metro…woke up to 5-6″s here in Coon Rapids. Looks like I’ll have to gas up the Toro again today. mad

Any reports from south metro on snow amounts?

Maybe some light rain here, but super windy. National weather service predicting gusts to over 40mph here today. I just wish we’d get some 50s or 60s.

Looks like you won’t be needing to gas up your snow blower. smirk

I’m debating on just sitting and waiting for it to melt. crazy

You can bake a pizza, crack a beer, watch fishing shows on TV or go out and shovel the snow. I’m sure you will make the right choice. waytogo

About 1.5” here in south Minneapolis. Just enough to be a nuisance. Roads sure are icy though. Watched a dude spin out into a sign in Minnehaha park this morning.

Heck…why not? Being that you don’t have any snow to shovel. smile

It’s pretty windy out there now. Suppose I could just wait and hope all the snow blows over into the neighbors driveway. grin

I just looked at my driveway for the first time this morning. Pretty full. Since I broke a brake line on the plow truck I was hoping not to plow again this year. Oh well, I’ve found in the past the snowbanks will stop you if you don’t hit them to fast.
No idea how much I have out there.

Roughly 4″ in Avon. Hard to tell for sure, some decent sized drifts out there.

Maybe you just better stay inside today. What you don’t know won’t hurt you. laugh

A neighbor from Mille Lacs posted a pic. They had over a foot. shock

EP, it’s going across the road.
Waded through pretty good banks getting to the plow truck. But bare ground other places. I would guess 4-5 inches here.

3 inches+ in Oakdale. This after Deadeye Dave Dahl predicted a dusting but then weasel-worded it with a bracket forecast for the area o1-38 inches. So I guess he was right.

This blows buttski. I’m done with snow.

About 10 inches in Hayward, WI. Most of the time we get a late March or April snow it’s gone in a day or 2. With highs in the low 30s all this coming week and many lows in the single digits it doesn’t look like it will be going away any time soon.

It was tough to tell at home with the drifting but they say we ended up with 9″. I was hoping to not have to plow anymore this year.

Not sure about having to push anymore snow around, but rumor has it…more on the way. Despite all the grief this year, I still remember April 2013 when a parade of late heavy snowfalls punished us and without prediction. The year of the polar vortex…or was that 2014? ???

I can tell you. 2014 was the year of polar vortexs and hardly ever getting above freezing all winter. )

2013 had a ton of snow, but it wasn’t as cold, bit still pretty cold.
