Yep. Just left Sauk Centre, big flakes. Visibility was bad. Probably had 1-2 inches of slushy yuck on the roads. Went 5 miles north, nothing.

Actually the wind is blowing from the east, SE, south/SW, north/NE, north and NW with that huge low pressure system moving through to the south of us.

    No matter…save your children.

Just not going to go anywhere today. Went out to clear snow but decided against it while the wind is still going. It’ll just drift in again.

“The wind in the trees made a tattle-tale sound
As the dog fell over the railing
And every one knew, as the father did too,
T’was the witch of April come stealin’
The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
When the gales of April came slashin’
When afternoon came it was freezin’ rain
In the face of a hurricane east wind
When suppertime came, the old mother came in sayin’
Family, it’s too rough to feed ya
At seven pm a main doorway caved in, she said
Family, it’s been good t’know ya”

Snowing and blowing in IGH. The plows went by a bit ago. Working on house projects today and Billy ran to get some parts, said the roads aren’t too bad… YET!

At some point today when the plow truck went through our mail box got taken out by the snow it was throwing. Last year it got taken out by someone that forgot that it drifts in front of our house every single time it snows. It didn’t help that they had not gotten the snow fence up across the road from us.

I guess it was to soon to be happy about it not getting taken out in the winter. lol
