I’m looking at 10” here as well and it’s still coming down hard. Just heard Savage pulled their plows until 2am.

They still haven’t plowed our neighborhood. It is usually plowed by 7am.
I logged into work this morning expecting them to plow before 8am, then I’d finish clearing the drive and head into the office.

It’s afternoon and I threw in the towel hours ago regarding driving into work today. I’m still working from home waiting for Mr Plow to move the foot of snow from the street onto my driveway.

Check out the city of Savages Facebook page. Many people still haven’t been plowed.

What? No blaming the meteorologists? Sounds like they nailed it this time.

You’re kidding, right? Deadeye Dave Dahl and his team of Channel 5 wunderkids were still saying 1-2 inches for the metro area as late as Sunday.

WeatherUnderground app had been saying 8 inches for my location as early as last Friday night. I saw that and said, “No! That can’t be right. Deadeye Dave Dahl says only that a system is coming and it could brush by us.”

It is true, however, that Dave Dahl updated his Monday forecast today and now he’s forecasting 9-14 inches.

Well, you don’t have to wonder why I don’t watch DD.

When you finally learn to look at snow forecasts in these terms, you’ll never be disappointed. http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/wwd/winter_wx.shtml

But what’s the fun in that? DD is a deserving target.

Looks like a good day to have lunch outside… rotflol

Rough to drive in this, but it sure is pretty! #minnesotalife

Fully agree Sharon, it may be a pain in the backside but makes for some great scenery with the snow hanging on the trees.

I pulled out my wood trailer last night with 4′ sides on it and it had 14″ of snow in it toast

Had to plow my driveway 3 times throughout the day/night, and each time the kingquad was just barely able to handle it, even with 4wd and low gear. Could be worse though — could be shoveling it all… devil chased
