The wind will be the issue. Blowing some ice clean and drifting in other spots. Maybe pay the $10- or $15 to drive out on a resort road?

Yes, why walk out with all your sh!t when you can just drive it out there. North and NE side, no…no. Don’t think about that, not safe yet. Plenty of other areas good to drive out of a resort.

You can choose from many from the east side…south around to the SW and west side.

$10 is all it’ll cost you. Well worth the price of admission. waytogo

Oh, and BTW…no wind blowing ice clean anywhere out there now. Close to a foot of wet heavy snow, it stuck everywhere and plenty of it.

Resorts are plowing their roads right now while we sit and drink…poking at our phones. blush

And only $10 to access from any and all resort accesses, not $15. Hey, that $5 could be a deal breaker for some. roll

The snow came at a bad time. The ice was just getting around to being borderline-drivable and now it’s insulated from the cold. A foot of snow on the lake and the resorts can’t get their plow trucks out.
