With Christmas just a week away, time to start preparing some of my special gifts. Salmon going into my brine now and into the smoker tomorrow.

We do a lot of dips with the canned that we make. My sweet & spicy candied salmon is best enjoyed right from the smoker. Some lucky folks will get some smoked salmon and smoked cheese for their gift from us this year.

I’m looking for a good salmon dip recipe.
I’m guessing cream cheese, capers, S & P, shallot, chives?
    What am I missing?

The sky is really the limit. Some times I like adding some garlic or chopped pickled jalapeños. For onions, I’ll switch between red onion and green onions. Craisins are a nice add some times. If the salmon is good, there are no bad dip recipes.

I did a thread last winter called tullibee recipes. I’d add a link but not sure how, but if you google it within this site there were some really good smoked fish dip recipes on it . I’m sure they would work with any smoked fish.
