Smoked Catfish

    I put 8 skinned catfish into brine today about 4pm. These will go into the smoker around 8am. Should be done around 2pm.

    These are channel cats. I only do smoked catfish a couple times a year but man is it good! toast

    Just finished 16 smoked carp on Monday and today was 2 pork loins and 2 turkeys and everything was delish ????????????
    Catfish are one of my favorites smoked fish.
    Did you catch on set lines or rod and reel? Good stuff enjoy ????

    Here you go. Just a recipe off the internet. I’ve done it without the garlic and ginger also and it turned out great.

    Finished batch. waytogo In the smoker before pulling out, and in the man fridge for the night. Dries the fillets down some before vacuum sealing them.
