Looking to spend a couple days in late July on Mille Lacs with my two teenage sons. Figured some smallie action would be fun for them. Looking for recommendations on guides. Thanks!

Hi Jim DeRosa is very good. Also is the president of Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance.

    Calling JOE!

Joe Scegura should have you covered, DT rang the dinner bell for you. Never personally met him but spoke with him enough to know he is a genuine guy I would trust to put me on fish.

Tony Roach, any day of the week. I had a blast up there and caught a 6lb smallmouth with him.

Had great luck with Tim Ajax. Do a combo walleye/smallie trip.
