Are these things any good? I have a slush bucket but with my 8″ auger there is still lots of stuff in the hole – like 5 gallons. Would be kind of nice to just shoot it down the holes if i drill 6 or 8. Ive read chips dont come back up (which seems odd), and that a paint mixer does the same thing. Anyone have a good speedy system for inside?

I have a Slush Copter. It works great. This is my 3rd winter using it.

They are well worth the money. I highly recommend. We drill with the house up and pull out the slush from underneath, set it down and use the slush copter and we are good to go. Sometimes you’ll get a little bit that comes back up, but its really not much. We typically drill 7 holes in our house and maybe fill up half of one of those small folgers cups with slush once we get everything set up.

I like the Northland Flipper Dipper myself.

You’ll never dip another ice chip in your life if you try a Slush Copter. The things are amazing. It’s like flushing the toilet and your slush is gone!

Previously I really liked my Slush Inhaler it worked great but the Copter is 5 times as easy.

Thanks for the replies! I wasn’t impressed with the inhaler because you still have to lug it out and they are HUGE. I have a 1000w inverter and assume the copter will take care of what I need.

Wheelhouses are both awesome and kind of a pain. I have what basically amounts to an insulated trailer and cant imagine the work involved in a carpeted fancy ice rv.

Highly recommended the slush copter. Very little or no slush will be scoped with tgese, great for wheelhouses.

Slush copter is the way to go! I don’t even mess with my Catch Cover Slush Bucket anymore. Just drill your holes and sweep any shavings on your floor down the holes. If there is a lot of shavings on the floor you might want to use the slush copter on a few holes first and then sweep. About 10 seconds with the copter and your holes will be clean. Rubber flooring also helps being able to sweep all the shavings down the hole.
