I’ve been fishing a shallow water slough (5ft) on a major river this winter, and doing ok for perch. Here lately the perch bite has drastically dropped off. Little spoons with waxies had been working for the most part. Last weekend not even the kitchen sink could trigger a bite. I’m stumped on what to do from here, seeing how this is really my first year fishing for perch on this river through the ice. Any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated.
