Sloppy Joe filled grilled cheese

    these are a true heart attack, but damn are they good.
    Thick Texas toast, home made sloppy joe sauce, some Colby jack, and pepper jack cheese.
    Also make them pizza style. Make it extra sloppy so you can scoop it up with regular lays or old Dutch chips and you are golden

    These are phenomenal. I first discovered these while camping and making sloppy joes in a pudgie pie maker. Now I make them all the time at home.

    I just recently ran across a recipe for philly cheese steak sloppy joes. Seems like they are making a comeback with a twist.

    I dont know where ive been all my life but it never dawned on me to make a “fancy” grilled cheese. But dang they are good

    I thought I was a weirdo for putting cheese on sloppy’s and pulled pork sandwiches. never tried on grilled cheese but its on the menu on my cheat days!

    Yes that looks awesome! Just last night I took some leftover pork loin slices topped with a couple slices of bacon a slice of cheddar and a slice of Swiss. Toasted it on the griddle on some sourdough. Excellent.

    Use an onion, sesame, or “the works” bagel to make a grilled cheese. It takes a while for the cheese to melt so you have to flip them several times to avoid burning them, but they’re GREAT!
