Do any of you use slip bobbers on lakes after ice out? I live in PA and have always been a jig and a minnow guy this time of year. But after being so successful ice fishing this winter with tip ups on walleye it has me thinking that a slip bobber may be a good ice out presentation. Just curious what others think!

IMO, there is never a bad time of year for slip bobbers. Always a time and place for em.

Agreed. I’ve done it hundreds of times in early to late spring.

Nothing beats a cocktail in a pontoon boat, bobber fishing walleyes at dusk.

Thanks BulBob i just ordered the 2″-2.5″ and the 3″ never thought id spend that much for a few bobbers ! But i did,can you tell me how your rigging it? Never heard of these until you mentioned them. Did some research and like the direction changing feature. What sizes do you use ? Anything special to know when using them ? Thanks Don
