Sliding glass patio door

I moved into a new house last month and the sliding glass door to the deck is sticky. My last house being a brand new house, the sliding door was butter smooth and could easily be opened and closed with one hand. This one is just stubborn. What can I do to make it slide easier other than replacing it?

    Thanks

Check to see if it has height adjustable rollers.

get the door and track clean and free of any residues. then try graphite ?

Also, as mentioned, there should be small holes toward the ends at the bottom. adjust them up.

Should have those adjustments on both sides on interior of door. Straight screw driver is the tool.

You should be able to take the panels out by lifting up and swinging the bottom out of the track. Scrub the track and vacuum it. Silicone or graphite lube it maybe. If it has rollers on the bottom make sure those are clean too.

Those rollers are pretty easy to remove and replace if needed.

Replacement rollers are easy to put in, used to be under $15 for the set, and might not be a bad idea to just replace them for ease of operation. I use dry lube on the track. Dust and dog hair doesn’t stick to it.
