Man I know I’m going to hear about it for posting new, but I’ve searched and searched…so:

I saved so much getting my Vex fixed vs replaced, I’d decided to treat myself to some new slender spoons; besides, tomorrow’s my birthday, and at this age I should get them ordered before I forget again.
Perch and Crappie, with some Walleye too. My waters tend to be mostly stained, but several run pretty clear too.
Let’s hear it, favorite color recommendations?

You may want to consider changing the size of treble hook on some of them. I don’t know if they have changed this yet but some were a bit small for good hook ups from my perspective at least.

Silver with red tape is good, silver with glow tape, gold with red tape, since you have some stained waters maybe try the silver with hot green or chartreuse.. It can change so much with overcast, snow cover, water quality.. Trying to match some general colors with what your target fish eat also is a good start

I concur, I always switch out the treble on the small 1/16 oz. slenders to a bigger one. The stock treble is too small to get good hook ups and I always have a hard time keeping a minnow head on them as well.

As far as colors, you can’t beat silver with red tape or gold with red tape. Just picked up a bunch of the pro series colors as well… they look really good. I’m excited to try them.
