I feel your pain man. I have an opinion but I really hate to offer it as it’s your boat and I know how hard it was to come to the color choices you did.
Did you get a chance to check out a boat on the lot that has a Sterling cap?
I really like the color combo.
March 29, 2011 at 10:50 pm #951933Thanks for posting that boat wade, my phone won’t let me do it. No I haven’t seen sterling in the sun only at the boat show did I see that top color.
March 29, 2011 at 10:55 pm #951936I really don’t know what to tell you bud. Your choices are great and it’s a beautiful boat. I would honestly hate for someone to put doubt into my head. I can’t tell you how much I like the idea of liking my colors so I don’t have to go through picking colors again.

March 29, 2011 at 11:38 pm #951930I just hope that if someone I know buys one of these new boats they offer to take me fishing at least a day or two. Heck, I might even offer to pull the rig up north for a day trip or something.

March 30, 2011 at 12:30 am #951973Don’t know if this helps but we run a black tracker tundra 21dc. While colors are always a personal choice I get tons of compliments on the dark colors as most boats are lighter color combinations. Personally I do not like “circus colors” on most cars and boats. That being said, I LOVE your color choice as it is ties in the yami blue motor with the accent stripe. Very cool looking boat.

arklite881southPosts: 5660March 30, 2011 at 10:24 am #952037I think the color combo looks very nice. That baby will be a black Diamond sparkling in the sunshine I assure you!! The Blue accent is also sharp.
BTW……..CONGRATS on the new boat. Regardless of anglers personal preference in color combinations we’re seeing a very big trend of fisherman opting into glass this year again. The WX1850 is a sweet fishing rig…….AND a beautiful boat I’m sure you will enjoy for MANY MANY years!!
How are you rigging it as far as electronics go?? Rails? Bimini top?? Cover? Kicker? Bow Mount?? SO many options!!

I just bought a new 1850 from SBC and i’m pretty sure I didn’t miss anything when it came to getting it rigged other than a bimini top. What would be the best bimini top to order and how much are they running? I really need the next two weeks to fly by so i can pick up my boat!
