I have an 2010 1850 w/ F150 and a T8, I absolutly love my rig and have no complaints with the ride or speed (48mph) with the factory 19 black, stainless prop. Just hear of alot of guys running the se300 on this motor and wondering if there’s any big benifits? I do plan on getting a reliance 19 as soon as I bang this one up. Thanks

The reliance 19p is the best that I personaly found. Others may have had better luck with a different prop but my vote still goes to the reliance.

If your looking for even more speed and hole shot after putting the reliance on you may consider having some custom cupping work done also!!!

You can order one from any yamaha dealer. I cant for the life of me remember the price of them so Im not even going to guess.

Give Sean a call at Skeeter Boat Center and he can get you a price and a prop if you wanted. 715 833 2664

Kinda jumped ahead of myself. Now that I searched se300 I realized you were talking about the hydro-foil. Myself personally I dont see you gaining a whole lot with that on your boat UNLESS you fish A LOT of the time with 3 or more people and keep a full tank of gas and have all your livewells full alot.

The two biggest things that it will normally do is increase hole shot and also help with a porpsing (sp) issue if you have one.

I have yet to talk to anyone that has adding one to that boat and motor and havent had a good reason to try one for that boat at this point.

Eric did you ever get a chance to look to see what prop for the powertech you would go with on the 2100 300sho?

The SE300 has more benefits, than just a whole shot and porpoising issues. I fish Mille Lacs where the lake can get pretty rough. The benefit of fishing with one, it dampens the incoming waves, so the boat doesn’t rock as hard. So, its easier to control the boat in rough water. I took a boat equipped with the SE Sport, 700miles down the Mississippi from Downtown Minneapolis to South of St. Louis (about 40miles) to Kimswick, Missouri. There I noticed a huge difference when I’d hit a wake from a large boat; either from the side or head on. The SE Sport would keep the boat from pitching drastically. I would definately put it on a fast boat like yours. It would help you recover from wakes hit at high speed. I just got back from Cabellas where I bought one for a friend. Its normally $60, onsale for $35. Well worth the price and the investment. As far as I’m concerned, you can’t go wrong.

Eric the only props I see what would fall into the 15.25x21p are the OFS3 & OFX3. By the description I would say you guys are using the OFS3. I think that I am gonna go with PT over the turbo. Thanks again for all the help.
