I want to put a different ladder on the boat 2013 wx1850 so it easier for kids and adults to get in. Anyone put a different ladder than what is on the boat from factory? Dealer is going to contact skeeter tomorrow and see what they have hopefully they will have a photo with it on the boat.

I think I found the answer. I found a 2014 skeeter that had a different ladder in it and really like it hopefully it came from skeeter. I can’t figure how to post a photo using the I pad.

Looked at 3 different boats from the same place and they all had the same ladder so I am sure it came skeeter.

Skeeter offers a boarding ladder that fits on most all the walleye boats. I don’t have a picture of it on my lap top but can post one in the morning once in the shop!

Thanks I hope it’s the one on the 2014.

Also what is the transom washer?

Im not exactly sure what transom washer means but if I had to guess I would say it would be something similar to a wash down system.

I’m curious too as I don’t remember ever seeing any type of hose on the back of the MX1825? It’s listed as a standard option under “Construction & Safety Features and Options” section on Skeeter’s website (http://www.skeeterboats.com/products/11/35)

Nevermind – The “Skeeter Transom Washer” is literally the big “Skeeter” aluminum plate washer under the rear motor mount…I guess they could have worded it a little better, i agree it’s misleading..

Its a washer, its on a transom, and the transom is on a skeeter. Seems pretty accurate.

I’d say it’s not when probably the best Skeeter rigging guy on the planet misinterpreted it as well…

It’s also the 2nd search result on Google with a conversation about it on the Walleyecentral message baord, the first few responses on the thread talk about it possibly being a separate pump used for washing down the boat…so confusing…

The FX & IClass weigh-in bag hose back at the transom probably fueled some fire to the confusion as well, that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw it on the options sheet.

I could go on, but bottom line, mystery solved

Thank you for all the input. I went and sat in the boat yesterday to figue out where to place the depth finder in the bow decided on the floor and to have the rails installed further up towards the trolling motor for rod holders and to see how the HB would fit on the council. Spent about 45 minutes going throught the boat double checking everything and asking a ton of questions.

I cant wait for the ice to go away.

Just wondering if screws are sufficient, or do i need to through bolt on my wx1900

We have installed them with #10 screws and silicone and haven’t had any issues.
