I know this has been talked about somewhat but I’m looking for more opinions on these 2 boats. I have a 1900 and have been looking at the 1825’s due to the better storage, bigger livewell, better job of trolling and I will get the 4-stroke which I think I will like better. My main worry is if it does not ride better or at least about the same as my 1900 and as dry I might regret my decision.
Let’s hear some more opinions please as I need help on this!!!

I looked at your profile and didn’t see a location so forgive this suggestion if you’re somewhere outside of a reasonable driving distance.

If you’re within driving distance I’d reach out to the guys at Skeeter Boat Center and set up a test drive of both boats on the same day. They do that kind of thing. Nobody knows what you’re looking for better than you do.

Do you know if the boys in Ramsey plan on doing test drives on a lake close to the cities as well?

The MX has lower sides but I would think it would still be a dry. The ride will not be as good in the MX with the seats forward position, this can easily corrected with a smooth moves seat. As mentioned best thing to do is to test drive one.

The MX with a full windshield is a dry ride. You’ll get some splash on the windshield in rough conditions, but sitting behind it, you won’t get wet.

Take a look at the waters you fish. The MX’s lower profile may not handle the rollers quite like the 1900 can. I’ve had the MX in some heavy rollers on MilleLacs, and its the only time I questioned my decision.

besides the good points made by others, the main differences between the two are the MX’s React Keel Hull and the WX’s Jump seats, those are the two main differentiators..

It does not, most likely the 2015 model year will include it..
