    1) I personally havent ever seen one on a tiller that I can remember.

    2) I see no reason why you wouldnt be able to put one on a 2000t. You would have to use the newer universal talon mount in the sandwich style to make it work though.

    3) It does get in the way somewhat, but not bad. It is just slightly taller than the motor and would be a little off to the side of it. It would almost be like putting a second motor to the side of the main motor in terms of taking up space and trying to fish around!

Sandwich style plate that’s what I was thinking do you think it would get back far enough to clear the splash gaurds

I dont think clearing the splash gaurds would be an issue. I think the biggest issue would be getting the rubber to fit and form around the bracket right at the motor.
The newer brackets can go back probably 8″ to 10″ if need be.

Have not looked at the Talons very close but wonder if they would fit inside a wave wacker designed for a vantage???

Im guessing they would just based on the shape but i dont know that you would be able to get the bracket to sit right so it would fit in there. I think the bracket would hit the wave wacker before the hole.

I have a 620T with a power pole. The rubber from the wave wacker to the main motor needs to be cut from the bottom up a short ways to go over the bracket. The bracket is a Minn Kota bracket that is sandwiched in between the main motor and the transom. It should accomidate your talon. The power pole is by far one of my better investments on my tiller.
    Good luck

My boat has Wave Whackers for splash guards. I went wit the Power Pole because of the “Drift paddle” option. The combined uses of the anchor and drift paddle are huge. It is a long list of benefits this combo provides to a tiller boat. Think of the combo as simple quick drift sock. Any other questions feel free to PM me.
