Looking at new boat. I was only looking at a skeeter until
I saw the new Ranger 1880 Angler. Has anybody spent time in both to give an honest opinion the two boats. I have questions on how the 1825 will do in rough water compared to my wx1880 i am currently running.

Talk about a choice . I would say it comes down to personal preferences regarding tackle storage and 4 stroke vs 2 stroke. It would be right up there with choosing who to marry, Sophia Loren or Ann Margaret.

I did own a 1860 angler myself which is the pre model of Ranger you mentioned. Very sound boat overall. I cant comment on the updated 1880 version.

Overall, I would say the day in day out softer ride in rough water advantage will always go to the narrowest boat. So in your case, your WX will be a softer ride than the wider MX.
