    I have a detwiler hydraulic jack plate on my 202 triton tiller it has a dial so you can fine tune the sweet spot while running. Its sweet.

    Check your Skeeter warranty before you install. Installation of a jack plate used to void hull/transom warranty. It may be different now. …Check first though.

    Dean ran a jack plate on his first 1825 with 200hpdi. Give him a shout at SBC.

    I personally wouldn’t add one just to increase speed. You will be looking at about 2mph in speed. Main reason we ran one was for shallow water. Also just to try it. If you do add one, don’t get a cheap one

    x 2 Plus there is Some benefit FOR Rough water ride applications as well. Which motor & prop do you have and What is Your present performance?
