While we all know the 20 ft glass tiller boats are awesome big water fishing machines, many models lack the rear casting deck ability for rear deck fishing Muskys, figure 8’s and just plain ole jig pitchin.

Never ever under estimate the creativity a true multi species angler can come up with to make their boat a multi tasker! I thought I would share this as a credit to our customer that made a great boat even more versatile, and much more coffee friendly too!

Better wear your life jacket standing on that back corner….

I’m looking at making a similar insert for 1/2 of the splashwell on my rig.

But, THIS was the best modification of a WX2000T that I ever saw (and ran). Nuthin’ like 225 horses pushing that hull around!

No kidding, wouldn’t catch my clumsy arse back there on mild day on Mille Lacs or Vermilion.

They work great for getting that fish net when trolling as well as fighting that big smallmouth on light rod.

nice job! i’ve seen a few that guys have done it that way. being perched on the back corner allows for the biggest possible figure-8s.

i run my boat from the back a fair amount of the time and need space to run the trolling motor pedal. i find the side tanks are plenty wide for comfort unless i’m sideways to some big wind/waves. for that, i added a removable “bridge” deck so i can take a step back to keep my balance when needed. this also makes it wayyyy easier to move around the boat without the up-and-down of stepping into the cockpit. when it’s time for fall trolling or panfishing with the family i just pop it out and put in the extra seats.
