    What Prop are you running on WX 2190 and what are you getting for speed?

    If your running the 300 offshore I would be running a 21 turbo 1 prop. You should see somewhere between 54 and 58mph depending on how you have it loaded.

    What Eric said. If you’re only seeing 53 mph with a 300 Off Shore you’ll enjoy the results following a prop switch.

    I started with a 21 pitch, 57.3 mph fully loaded, changed to a 19 pitch for better hole shot.

    21 Pitch Turbo 1 or was it the 21 Saltwater? Typically the holeshot with the 21 Turbo 1 is very, very strong. The 21 Saltwater is really not a very good performer on the 2190.

    I tested a handful of props and I stuck with the Turbo 1 21p. The hole shot is amazing. Half throttle and the boat just pops out of the water. For top speeds I ran 56-59 depending on load and water conditions. I am also running the Atlas jackplate.

    The saltwater prop is a much heavier prop. The blades on it are much thicker. Its hard for me to measure but I believe the cupping is different some between the 2 also.
    Those are the 2 biggest differences between those props.

    both the 21 and 19 ones I have used are tempest plus

    I see the 2014 WX 2190 comes with a 20 pitch saltwater on the 300 h.p.

    Some had them last year. Why run a 20p when you can turn the proper rpms with a 21p? Less pitch=less speed.

    I am looking at buy a turbo 1 21p prop, but they come in two sizes. A 13.25″ and 14.25″ diameter. What size are you running?

    You need the 14.25 prop the other size is for the smaller gearcases.
