Looking at picking up the rain suit that skeeter has. Anyone have this set, and is it really with the money? Any input would be really appreciated!

I really like the jacket but the front access on the bibs is limited. If you need to take a leak you have to almost fully undress. Not ideal if it is raining. I ordered a different set of bibs. The jacket is excellent.

I agree. Also if you are taller the bib straps are not long enough so they pull the bibs up. I extended my straps so the bibs stay down a little more, otherwise my 2x looked like i was ready for a flood

I think I am just going to go to Cabela’s and look at their guide wear series. They look like they are a good quality rain suit. I have found a lot of good reviews on them. Thanks guys!

Cabelas suit is great. Mine is about 15 years old and still works great. I only use it spring and fall because it is too heavy in warm weather.

The Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier gear is really nice (alot cheaper than the 100mph set and pretty much just as good) This time of year you can find them clearanced, I got my set 1/2 off…

Skeeter…is that sale still going on or was it a different year you purchased your set?

I purchased a few years ago, but they clearance them every fall…just have to keep an eye out as they sell fast..
