Fishing some windy conditions and I shoulder checked the corner of the windshield. Hit it hard enough to separate the support pole for the windshield. Came apart at the “Ball and Socket” connection. Anyone know the proper length support I would need to order for a 2012 MX1825? I see they make solid aluminum poles, would these be better?

You could try measuring the one you broke to get the proper length.

From where to where? Size options range from 11″-14″ at 1″ increments. Do I measure the pole or from mounting hole to mounting hole? Hence, asking the Pros.

PM Eric from SBC and he will know where to get one. I bet that hurt pretty bad if you actually broke the support.

That boat should have came with the solid metal poles. I believe it has been 3 years since we used the plastic ones. I dont believe the holes line up exact from the plastic one to the metal one but I believe they will cover.

We can send a pair to you if thats what your looking for.
Contact Brent as I will be gone all next week and we should be able to get a set out to you in the mail!!

The poles themselves are metal, but the mounting brackets and joints are plastic. Trying to get it put back in place chewed up the ball and socket pretty good. An all metal support is what I’d like. I’ll give a call on Monday. Thanks.
