Well it has been a couple of months in my new boat and I know that Chris has reported on his and I have added also.

I now have 19.8 hours on the big motor and I have fished in all kinds of weather from 30+ mph winds to dead calm.

This boat and keel is much improved over the WX 2100 and that is saying something. I have had multiple Ranger and Lund owners and a couple of Warrior owners ooohing and aweing over this boat at the ramps and on the water, asking all kinds of questions.

What has impressed me the most is the handling and control at all speeds. This boat now drifts and tracks much better than the WX2100. My WX2100 when drifting the bow would always swing forward and I was correcting with trolling motor. This problem has been solved.

Rough water, hot knife through butter.

Hole shot much better with the Yamaha Salt water series prop that it came with, than the WX2100 with the same prop. As Chris has said this is probably do to batteries be moved back in boat instead of in the bow under the rod locker.
I am going to try a different prop this coming weekend, I will probably loose a little on top end, as I did before on WX 2100 but that is OK with me. I have hit 59 mph with 2 bigger people and full of fuel and gear, lake was like glass and the wife says we don’t need to go that fast anyways. (She is right) but don’t tell her I said so.

We really like the layout and the better access to the rear live well. The storage is a little less that the 2100 but can be made up with the Plano Box storage compartments which is a really nice feature.

The Command Link is really nice as I didn’t have anything like that on my 2008, WX 2100.

Oh, it does catch a few walleyes also.
