    odd question, and might be obvious…

    what is this tab for on the top center of the boat cover?

    I believe it is so you can pull up on the cover if you get water on the cover while its on the boat. You can pull up on the loop to drain the water off.

    I thought it was for when the boat is parked in the garage you could hook a hoist to it and store the boat in the rafters. Not taking up any floor space for other things.
