Has anyone had trouble with the sound quality on there Skeeter? When I plug in through the audio jack… the skeeter turns into a BASS MONSTER.. like something you would hear in North Minneapolis… not running lindy rigs….I turned the bass all the way down, and still all I get is Bass… Let me know if anyone has any tips

    thanks

Switch to minnows if you don’t like bass

The English language is cruel and inhumane.

I had to read your post two times before I could stop thinking bass(fish) and read bass(sound). Kinda funny, for a Monday.

Check to see if the device you are plugging in has an equalizer. If it does I’m guessing it is set up to make your headphones sound good. But results in too much bass for a stereo system.

“Plug in through the audio jack” do you mean your phone or ipod through the aux jack? if thats the case you can play with your equalizer on your ipod and possibly your phone. Or just turn down your volume on your device alittle and turn up the radio in the boat should cut out some of the bass.

I have to do this when I use either in my car. My ipod sounds way better then my phone.
