Got a hold of the boys at SBC and had them hold one of these for my MX 1825. I am not going to miss trailer gymnastics one bit.

Can you post a pick from the front of the boat. I want to see the steps better. THanks

Bummer, I just realized that the winch post on my MX1825 doesn’t give me enough room to mount the steps.

You shouldn’t have an issue with installing these steps on an 1825 unless you have re-designed or altered your winch post. I have added them to 2 1825 so far.

Homemade? Are you selling them? Are they for sale? How much?

Skeeter offers them now as an option. One thing I will add is that without the new slide bracket for the trolling motor it does get pretty tight going up them. If you have the trolling motor slid back on the plate or removed they are GREAT!! It sure saves the knees and back while getting in and out of the boats!!!

Eric, are sure those exact steps will fit a 2012 MX1825 trailer? There is nowhere near enough room under the winch on the post on my trailer. It is the same winch post on all the MX1825 trailers I see on the SBC site. I hear there is a different model for the MX1825 as opposed to the MX2025.

This is the winch post I have on my trailer. Sure doesn’t look like enough room under the winch to mount the above pictured steps.

This must be the trailer ladder for the MX1825.

Looks more like a ladder and looks to have the u-bolts placed closer together.

It is not the same exact steps no. The ladder for the 1825 is like the one pictured above. Not the same exact steps but the same concept.

Eric, could you take some better pictures of the step ladder for the MX1825?
    Thanks

I dont have any here currently. I have 4 sets on order right now but havent seen them. The two boats I have put them on were customer boats and are not here. As soon as I get them in I will post a picture.

Mike, can I get you to send me the trailer vin off your boat? I will need that so I can farther investigate whether or not they have one that will fit.

I made my own for my WX 1850..

The other bracket to the left is for the rock guard.

The new steps look great on my WX2000T !!!

Cleaned and waxed the boat today and then it took about 5 minutes to install the steps.

Thanks Eric and everyone at SBC.

Do you have a step that will fit on a 2012 1825 MX and do you have a picture of this as well. I understand that the steps for the 1825 are different than the 2025.

If you look at SBC’s website, under MX1825 DC inventory stock # s1367, you can see the MX1825 version of the trailer steps.. hopefully this web page works

IMO, i like red dogs setup as it’s the best of both worlds. Next fall i have plans to pick up a mx2025. Do some traveling and some gravel roads. Wanted to get some of those rock guards and not sure on the step yet.

I would just worry of hitting the boat with one of those steps if you come in off center because of wind or current…

If I hit my steps, theres gonna be worse damage somewhere else, than the boat hitting the steps. Never been an issue, or even close. While I made these for my WX, I have had the same steps on my Crestliner for 13 years.. I could see it happening on a roller trailer quicker than a bunk, but I never got close to the with the roller either..
