MX1825 Full Windshield Fit In 7′ Garage Door?

Subject says it all. Anyone with one know if it fits into a 7′ tall garage opening?

Mine just fits. I have about 1 inch of clearance when hooked to my 2500HD pickup. I usually tilt the motor down just a little to give me a couple more inchs. The full windshield clears by 4 inches. By the way love the boat. It beats the heck out of my old 1800 Pro V.

MXSkeeter, your saying the motor (tilted) is higher than the windshields on the 1825? I’m putting a third stall on my current 7′ double garage….Currently have an 1850 and 7′ doors are okay, but if I ever went with something else, (mx1825 or 2050)), I’d want more than an inch clearance.

I’m kinda surprise since both SBC and Skeeter boat list the 1825’s at 78″ overall height. Skeeter boats also lists the 2050 at 78″. What’s even more confusing, is the 1850’s are 73″ on SBC site, and 83″ on Skeeter site. I measured about 75″ at the windshield. Probably gonna take all worry about any future boat and go with the 8′ door.

The tilted motor is taller than the windshield.
I have to tilt my motor down to get the boat in the garage and the windshiled fits by a couple inches (it’s close, but fits).

I’ve got the boat, we’re looking at a home that has a second detached garage with a 7’x16′ door. I measured the boat the other night and came up with approx. 82″ at the windshield depending on the height of the hitch. I figured it would be tight, but wanted to know if its possible. Would hate to pay for a shed I can’t use.

Also consider things like the arm that connects the garage door to the garage door opener. My 20′ stratos fits under the door on my garage by 1/2 inch but doesn’t clear the door opener arm. If I line it up right with the walk through open, it fits and the door can go down. Thankfully, the door on my pole barn is 9 foot tall.
