    My new WX1850

I really like some of the minor cosmetic changes they made to the 2013’s. Notice the rear fuel lines are gone, and now there is just one up by the consoles now. I was told about this change but didn’t exactly understand all the details. Now it makes more sense. Love the new decals as well. Going to see it in person tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to see how the new Mercury 150 4-stroke looks on the back.

beautiful boat, make sure you post pics of the finished product. I have a 2011 and love it. Where did you buy it? I love my 150yami but I would have liked to test drive one with the new 150 merc 4 stroke.

Bought it from Mr. Marine in Fond du Lac, WI. I’ve been buying Mercury powered Skeeters from them since the WX1880 came out in 2005. I have nothing bad to say about Yamaha, I just like my Mercs better. Plus, I like having something that not everyone else has as well. Price isn’t as big of a difference as you would think either, as long as you don’t get carried away with fancy rigging extras.

every where I have checked, the merc has been lower priced than the yammi. Havent looked at package pricing though.

the few skeeters that I have seen with the merc on back are really sharp looking units. I wonder if someone got their yammi painted black what it would do to resale
