Dean Marshall, Manager at Skeeter Boat Center in Chippewa Falls WI, is on location at the Skeeter Boats annual dealer meeting. He’s going to be sending back photos and, hopefully, some video, of the new 2190 and 2025 released to the public for the first time last week.

Here’s some shots of the 2190 including the often asked for interior lay-out shots and seating arrangement.

The first shot from Dean is from the bow of the boat looking rearward showing the WX 2190 seating. Legit seating for six?! That would be 4 in the pedestals and 2 in the jump seats. We’re hearing the 2190 is over a foot longer in the cockpit area meaning there more room than ever between the steering wheel and rear deck.

Depth of the interior from floor to top of gunnel just rearward of the consoles. Looks to be 27.5″ from here.

Skeeter Boats wanted to add a setback on the WX 2190 to maximize the performance of their new big water boat. It would seem to make sense that if a setback is good, an adjustable jackplate is better. Better control in rough conditions, better hole shots, better top speed. We can dig that!

Here’s a better shot at the passenger side console. The glove box is much bigger than what you’ll find on the WX 2100 and they’ve added a recessed area that will be lined with a rubber mat… like what we find in today’s cars and trucks. Finally a place to put small items within easy reach where they’ll actually stay put.

Notice they made this one in Rainy Daze red. Coincidence? I think not.

Stop back in tomorrow as Dean will be sending us more photos and even some video to share here. If anyone has a request for a specific still photo, post it up here and we’ll be sure to put that request in front of Dean.

It just keeps getting better and better. How about a few pics of the side storage compartments and new seats. Also what is the white thing on the right of the dash? Radio? I dont see a radio but I see speakers

OK!! Initial reaction to the pics….AWESOME. I wanted a slightly larger/Slightly lowered rear casting deck, side storage for day box use (easy access),Starboard storage on the gunnel, mold-in passenger dash for…..STUFF, center stroke (Easy access)Rear Livewell, Slightly larger boat with a little more cockpit room. Well Skeeter……I swear your like the Walleye fisherman’s Santa Clause!! That looks awesome. I swear you’ve included nearly EVERYTHING I wished for and MORE!!

Now add the Jackplate standard…..SICK!! Beyond this I’ve heard some inside chatter that thus hull on the 2190 is even a higher perfomance design than my Current WX2100!! I will admit I need to drive this to believe it!!

    SKEETER……

    That’s the radio. AM/FM digital tuner w/ MP3 input.

The extra room in the Cockpit is just awesome for many Walleye anglers like myself.

    Red boat, grey consoles.

    Jackplate wireing could be neater.

Nice deep boat with lots of room.

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Dean and I still joke about the “ugliest boat paint scheme ever made” that had buyers fighting over who got to buy it. Tan and light purple.

I definitely like this one better.

Here’s the photos requested by Reddog who asked to see the the location of the seat post on the front deck of the WX 2190.

Here’s the wide shot, with Terrova foot pedal on deck for perspective.

My 1850 measures 33″ from the bow flat spot to the center of the pedestal and 41 inches from the center of the pedestal to the windshield wall behind..

    Just my opinion:

3 best things that ever happened to Skeeter in regard to multispecies:
    1) Dave Markquart
    2) Dean Marshall
    3) James Holst

Hats off to a company that is more than willing to listen and put ideas into reality!

Here’s some new photos of the WX 2190 taken at the dealer meeting held last week in TX.

The bow has definitely changed significantly from the WX 2100; there’s more flare from the keel up to the water line and the keel itself is much more pronounced like what’s found on the MX 1825.

As more photos keep filtering in we keep stumbling across previously “hidden” gems. Like some of the refinements made to the jump seat arrangement at the rear of the WX 2190.

In previous WX models with jump seats the seats themselves were located further away from the gunnels which made access to the livewells a challenge. Basically the livewell was under the port jump seat. That’s changed in the WX 2190. Here’s you can see the jump seats have been moved outward and a livewell with standard access lid has been centered between the seats.

And under the seats we find some surprises as well. How about a water-tight compartment with built in storage trays. If you don’t want the trays, take them out. You’re still left with water-tight storage at the back of the boat.

At this point we assume this same arrangement can be found under both jump seats but that’s just a guess as the seat on the opposite side didn’t make the shot.

Here’s a more overhead shot of the cockpit area in the WX 2190. I believe there’s over a foot of extra cockpit length in the WX 2190 over the WX 2100. Fishing 4 – 5 anglers at a time, in comfort, should be easy.
