Does anyone have a 1197 on the dash of a windshield 1850? I’m not finding enough room on my new rig. What mount did you use? Thanls

Thanks Wade. I was a afraid thats what it was going to take. I would like to have both the 997 and the 1197 be on the same mount, so depending on the situations/seasons, I could place either one at the dash or the trolling motor. On top of that, I would like them to be transferrable to the Crestliner also, so that means because what it take to mount the 1197 on the dash of the Skeeter, I need 4 swingarm mounts…. unless they sell a stand alone mount that goes on the boat, then I just need 2 complete units, and two bases. I got the L/R transducers mounted today, and re rigged the troling motor plug to a Battery Tender instead of the plug that came with the boat.

Just for clarification purposes Wade. I need the single arm unit, correct, not the double elbowed one?

The double would work as it would give you more reach for the units. However the single is more than adequate.

You could probably get both units on one arm but they would be so wide that you would not be able to see your instrument cluster.
