    Anybody here if Yamaha is going to update the four stroke line?

    Every year Yamaha tweaks things.

    Are you looking for an extension of the

    VMAX SHO line?

    Or something else in particular?

    How about adding the vts to the 115 like Merc. has. Love my 75 with the vts, wouldn’t have one without it.

    I hate to say it but you wont see that coming any time in the near future on the 115 or 150’s.

    The reason being is that the oil pump is driven off of the drive shaft on those motors. With that said, if you decrease the idle any lower than factory setting those 2 motors will not get enough oil to keep them lubed, which in turn makes things go boom.

    They have been working on trying to get around that but I havent heard any progess so I dont see that happening any time soon.
