After completing a film shoot on the Rainy River I officially received MY first ride in the MX series from Skeeter Boats!!

OK…..NO BONES ABOUT IT; I am a WX series NUT. I demand the wave smashing performance, endless storage, deep cockpit design of my WX2100 “Sho-Time”. With this being said the MX series is a boat that has truly lived up to it’s early billing. This boat tracks beautiful and is very fisherman friendly on the water. The storage room in basically a 18 foot boat was a genius engineering design.

Skeeter boats has created another Monster in the Multi-species fishing world!!

While at the Northwest Sportshow the most common question by far centered around WX vs. MX!! I’ll be very honest that I will be the guy that has to look up specs. Beam? Carrying Capacity? I’d have to look it up. What I do know is how my boat handles Rainy Lake on an everyday basis.

Guys looking to get into a dominate Glass ride owe themselves a test ride in these boats. Neither Talk or Spec qoutes can possibly replace the experiene you receive while being in the boat yourself.

The MX……FROM A WX GUY!! Is a awesome boat that is going to make many fisherman very happy!! That is…..If the SBC can keep them in stock.

Every serious angler depends on a boat that enables him/her to fish in any condition. The Slogan Eat…..Sleep…..Fish was clearly well thought out by corporate Skeeter boats. One might wonder if the SBC boys have forgot about the “Sleep” portion of the slogan??

Thanks for burning it at both ends guys!!

O.K. You have my attention. I run a 2005 620 ranger, when I bought the boat it was night and day better than the Skeeter Im in the market for a new rig, looking at a 621 with a 300 Verado. I’ll be up end of July and want a ride/drive.

We’ll definately work something out!! Shoot me a PM on the dates you’ll be here. Either we’ll take “Sho-Time” or if one of the SBC boys happens to be here around the Bass Tourney they can likey arrange a boat of your choosing to be available as well.

For others heading to Rainy Lake or going to be in the area I try to make myself available in the evenings for test rides. You can not only ride in the boat on Rainy Lake, but also see firsthand how my boat is rigged and how I use my storage…….

Please shoot me PM’s if you’d like to take a peek this summer!! My cost you a Pop!!

I have test driven the MX1825 and it is awesome! I first seen the boat at the MTT at Mille Lacs last year. Gregg has been awesome to work with at Skeeter and I just sold my Lund. I’ll be down there next week to look again, but I’m buying one! The toughest part is picking out the colors!
