Well, out with the “old” and in with the new. Signed off today for this beauty. (The boat.. I’m keeping the wife.) Really excited in the step-up of the ride and space I’m going to have. Now I just wish it was warmer out. A pic with the cover will suffice for now.

I guess I consider myself lucky that I have my dealer (SBC in Ramsey) just a few minutes away now. And I can make cookies…. They really like cookies for some odd reason.

This is my first Skeeter and im sure it wont be my last. Its awesome so far and I haven’t even had her in the water! Its a 2015 WX1850 and it has almost every after market option Dean and Tony could screw onto it. The pic is from the SBC website since it is tucked away in the garage safe and sound. Thanks again to Dean and everyone at the Skeeter Boat Center for the awesome servive!!!

This too is my first Skeeter (got it last year) and I am very pleased so far – can’t wait to get it on Erie in four weeks! Love everything about the boat – amazing ride in the rough stuff – and dry – way better than my previous Lund 1950 Tyee’s.

The only thing I question is the prop – not sure if the Saltwater series 20″ (or 21″ for that matter) is the ideal prop for this boat. I have the manual jack plate and I’m only able to get about 5600 RPM’s at WOT with two guys – about 54-55 mph. Hole shot is pretty decent. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Nice boat Chad! As far as propping there are a few props that people like. Saltwater 20p and 21p, Turbo 1 21p and the Bravo 21 and 22.

I ran with the 21 Turbo 1. Tried a few other props but 1 I plan on trying this year is the Bravo. Buddy with the 21 Bravo came from a Turbo 1, said he lost some top end but loves how it handles, buddy with a 22 said good all around runs 56-5700 rpms.

Hey Josh, I had a chance to water test that boat. Sweet set up and I like the color combo. Side imaging worked great.

Seeing all these Skeeter has me all fired up! I’m bias, but these are the best looking and performing boats out there! Great looking MX Josh, it looks great in the sun-I was within a blink of an eye of pulling the trigger on that boat. Francisco, your MX is awesome looking too-we need a picture without the cover grin . Here is mine I bought from Shane at Great Lakes Marine in IA. Thank you Shane! You are a pleasure to work with! Skeeter has a network of some great dealers! waytogo

Thanks Joel! I can’t believe how close they are. I do like your deck stripe color being the same as the hull color above and below the rub rail. Well done! BTW, I have a yellow lab too…

You bet Josh and thank you. Kris is spot on. Lettertech in St. Paul is exactly where my registration numbers came from. They already have “Accelerator” font which is what Skeeter uses. Great guys up there!

Here’s a little peek at the new boat. Headed down in a week to rig and take it home. It will be rigged with 2 Gen3 9’s and a Gen2 Touch 9, Lowrance VHF, Sirius XM/Weather, Motorguide Xi5 with gateway kit and Wave Pro pedestals.
