Thinking about getting a 2012 WX2100, I already own a 2008 WX2100 in excellent shape, other than bigger motor what other advantages are there if any?
Though I’m not sure on the precise make up of the 2008 WX2100 from Skeeter Boats I will say that the motor upgrade from my 2010 WX2100 powered by the F250 to my 2011 WX2100 powered by the all new 300hp Yamaha “Off Shore” utilizing the SHO technology was worth the price of admission. Truly amazing!!! I put 2 big boys (No offense SBC GUYS) in the jump seats while filling the back well to the top, and then had one other gentleman sit in one of my back pedestal seats. Dave Marquart had his hand on the stop watch and hollered HIT IT!! From dead in the water to on pad/plane is like 1.3 seconds LOADED!!
I ran a 2010 WX2100 with a F250 and loved it, but was interested in a bit quicker hole shot, mid-range power and of course top end. I took one ride with those 300 ponies pushing that WX2100 and knew I was in for a new ride. Of course everyone including myself likes to rig a new boat changing a thing here and there, picking out new color schemes and just staying current with the rigging process, but I’ll assure you the motor is something worth checking out alone!!
Feel free to shoot me a PM and I’ll do the best I can to answer any questions for you. The Skeeter Boat Center truly dominates sales and service on these dream machines.
If by chance anyones is up here in my area that would like to take a ride in “Sho Time” for themselves give me a shout. “Sho Time” really likes to be saddled up by fellow anglers!!!
